Due to a change in the artist's schedule, we had to cancel this workshop. We had hoped to be able to reschedule in 2025. Unfortunately, we have not been able to find an appropriate date.
The Watercolor Club is open to watercolorists of all levels. The group meets the third Monday of every month (unless otherwise posted) at the Perquimans County Recreation Center at 10 a.m. and paints until 1 p.m. Bring snacks and water. The sessions are free and member led. Examples of sessions include: sharing a new technique, a demo, a video or an introduction to a specific professional artist. The session is designed to develop skills and techniques. Membership in PAL is required since members receive added benefits like early registration for guest artists and discounts on classes. DownloadPAL offers free After School Art classes. Sessions usually last 4 to 6 weeks and are held about 4 times a year. New classes will be announced soon!
Watercolor classes are very popular at PAL! Six-week sessions are offered several times per year for all levels.
Watercolor artist Graham Berry of the UK came to Hertford in April of 2023 to teach several very successful workshops.
PAL sponsored a one-week Art Camp at the end of June. Various artists taught a different technique each day, and participants were able to take home some beautiful creations.
We're always looking for new ideas for classes to offer to our community! It could be a one-day workshop or a series of classes. Please share your ideas with us.
