  The Perquimans Arts League's (PAL) 4th annual Harvest on the Albemarle gala is approaching quickly and you don't want to miss out on the event of the season......do you? So mark your calendars for October 4, 2008 at the Sound Links Country Club at Albemarle Plantation. There will be eating & drinking, music for dancing, items to bid on both live and silent.   Suzanne Towe Haste Merit Scholarship Award - The Perquimans Arts League recently presented Aaron Lane with the Suzanne Towe Haste Merit Scholarship Award. Suzanne Towe Haste was an Executive Board Member and long time supporter of the Perquimans Arts League and the arts and music of Perquimans County. This award recognizes students of outstanding ability who will be majoring in art or music in college. It is made without regard to financial need.
Aaron is a senior at Perquimans High School and will attend the University of North Carolina, Wilmington where he will study jazz performance. Aaron has been studying music for 12 years. |
