PERQUIMANS ARTS LEAGUE 13TH ANNUAL MEMBERS SHOW Click here for the Members Show Entry Form   Perquimans Arts League invites its members to submit original visual art work for the 13th juried Annual Members Show which opens Friday March 7, 2008 at the PAL Gallery. The Show will be in place through April 2nd. A monetary award will be given for BEST IN SHOW (by a judge) and the PEOPLE’S CHOICE Award selected by visitors to the opening reception. Ribbons will be awarded in each category. Reception at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 7th ACCEPTABLE WORKS: Original works in any media that have been completed within the last two years and have not been previously exhibited in the Members Art Show. Pre-manufactured forms, kits or copies are not considered original works of art. Two dimensional work should be framed and wired for hanging. The Arts League retains the right to decline any entry. ENTRY FEE: Entry fee is $10.00 and artist may enter up to three works of art. Due to limited Gallery space, over-sized pieces possibly may not be displayed. SUBMISSION OF ART: Art should be brought to the PAL Gallery in Hall of Fame, 109 N Church Street, Hertford beginning Saturday, March 1st through Wednesday March 5 between the hours of 10a.m. and 5p.m. The Gallery will not be able to accept entries for the Members Show after these dates. Please call before coming, 426-3041. SALES: We encourage all work to be for sale. PAL will retain a 30% commission on all works sold. Please include this when pricing work. PICK-UP OF ART: All unsold art work may be picked up on April 2 and 3 from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. LIABILITY: PAL will exercise the best possible care of the art work, but will not be held responsible for loss or damage by any cause.
