Pamlico Arts Council is pleased to again sponsor the 9th Annual "ART ON THE NEUSE' Outdoor Arts Festival in Oriental, NC on Saturday, May 12 from 9 to 4PM. All media accepted. Original Art only. Outdoor booths (approx. 10ft x 10ft) for the day is $30 and no commission is charged on art sales. New artists must submit visuals & a bio. Artists are invited to apply for the 9th FEMALE ARTIST'S ART ANNUAL Online Global Art Annual. The competition is open to all artists and is judged solely by visuals submitted online or attachment. Painting I Class at ECSU - Andy Gambrell, MFA (Master in Fine Arts) in painting from Miami Univ. and a new faculty member at ECSU is going to teach Painting I this summer. The class in observational acrylic painting will deal with:
Drawing with paint
Value studies/chiaroscuro
Mixing paint focusing on accuracy of value/hue
and it will culminate with a finished realistic still life piece.

CALLING ALL ARTISTS – With the start of the new year, its a good time to rotate your artwork in the gallery. We have had a good number of sales and we have had to rearrange to fill in the holes left by those sales. We look forward to seeing your new items to restock the gallery. Please keep in mind that commssions can only be paid to those artist that are up to date with their membership dues.
